We’d Really Like Your Input

A group of Elmhurst residents is exploring a referendum to reduce the City Council from 14 aldermen to 7, with one alderman representing each of Elmhurst’s seven wards. The mayor would continue to be elected separately.

Elmhurst is one of only three of the 38 municipalities in DuPage County with 14 aldermen. Most have six.

We’ve put together this short survey to learn which aspects of a smaller Council residents find most meaningful.

This is not an opinion poll.
We are testing which statements are more meaningful or persuasive to Elmhurst residents.

You’ll see four pairs of short statements.
For each pair, choose the consideration that is more important to you, or indicate that they are equally important.

This should take less than 2 minutes.

No name or email is requested.
No personally identifying information is collected.
